Mission
Camp Fire provides educational and recreational programs for boys and girls in Kindergarten through high school. Camp Fire utilizes trained adult volunteers to Provide club, camping and self-reliance programs for youth.

Services
Campers may participate in horseback riding, archery, hiking, outdoor skills, cookouts, arts & crafts, singing, council fire, backpacking, overnights and more!

Boys & Girls: Kindergarten through high school.

All programs emphasize self, social and skill development. The purpose of Camp Fire is to provide, through a program of informal education and opportunity for youth to realize their potential and to function effectively as caring, self directed adults.

Mission
Literacy instruction for adults over the age of 16 and not in school where Reading level is below 7th grade.

Services
Assessment of reading level, 1 on 1 tutoring in basic reading, small classes in English for speakers of other languages, computer-assisted instruction, life skills training, workplace learning opportunities & referrals to other appropriate agencies.

Eligibility
Adults over the age of 16 and not in school whose reading level is below 6th grade. Also adults who original language is not English.

Comments
Non-profit, community based volunteer organization funded partly by United Way. Services are free. Extensive referrals are provided for clients who need services we do not provide. Volunteer tutors are always welcome and training is provided.
