Jerome State Historic Park & Douglas Mansion
The 1916 mansion built by mining mogul James “Rawhide Jimmy” Douglas tops a hill overlooking his Little Daisy Mine. Douglas purchased and began development of the copper mine in 1912. He designed the house as a hotel for mining officials and investors, as well as his family.
